Choosing a college is one of the biggest investments a family will ever make. Yet most students and parents are expected to navigate admissions, financial aid, merit scholarships, and career planning with little more than internet searches and well-meaning advice.

That's where I come in.

My name is Joe Korfmacher, I live in Westfield, NJ and for nearly two decades I've helped students and families navigate the increasingly complex world of college admissions and affordability. I've worked with more than 2,000 families, visited over 350 colleges and universities, served as a Director of College Counseling, and advised families ranging from first-generation college students to those applying to the most selective universities in the country.

Today, through JDK College Consulting, I provide highly personalized guidance that helps students find colleges that are both an admissions fit and a financial fit.
